Hi there! I’m Angela, an advertising & brand strategy consultant by day and a DIYer/blogger by night.

I live in a wonderful little spot called Nob Hill in Albuquerque, New Mexico with the man of my dreams and my favorite sock monkey. My husband and I are newlyweds and building our nest into a beautiful oasis has been a bit of an obsession of mine since day we returned from our honeymoon (in Paris!).

I love to create things for around the house and you’ll find a lot of that on Made of a Kind. I also love to design hack pieces from some of my favorite stores – namely Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware and Anthropologie.

Finally, if you love cooking, check out my recipes. My husband and I have a weekly brunch date each weekend. I take that as an opportunity to create all sorts of amazing concoctions. :) Also, you’ll find a lot of other great recipes for mid-week cooking, holiday cooking and party-hosting. Speaking of which, I LOVE hosting parties. I’m really excited about a new party-planning section that will be coming soon!
